The Introduction To NC. Modern Day Lynching

The execution chamber at the Arizona state prison complex-Florence.

This website is about wrongful conviction of death row prisoner Shan Carter. The exhibits documents in this website will conclusively prove to you, that Shan Carter is innocent, was framed and wrongfully convicted for the murder of Donald Brunson, which is case # 1, as a result of that among other things Shan Carter was wrongfully convicted for the self-defense killing of Tyrone Baker and the accidental killing of Demetrius Greene this is listed in case # 2.

Attorney and Director Bryan A. Stevenson of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) equated the death penalty as Modern day Lynching. Carter felt that way for years, from a innocent Death Row prisoner’s perspective. But when Mr. Stevenson was quoted in the media as saying it, Carter actually went and looked up the words lynch and lynch mob in his Oxford American College Dictionary,it states lynch means,to kill some one especially by hanging for an alleged offense with or without a legal trial, and lynch mob means, a band of people intent on lynching some one.

Shan Carter’s death penalty trials is a form of modern day lynching by North Carolina Government. In 2000 and 2001, Shan Carter was wrongfully convicted of murder and put on death row, the prosecutors maliciously prosecuted Shan Carter between, in which jurors unwittingly wrongfully convicted him, and bias judges sentence Carter to life and death. His name is Shan Carter, Carter is innocent and on death row in North Carolina. Carter was framed in Wilmington, North Carolina and he can conclusively prove it!

The one thing that sticks out to Carter about most old lynchings is, no one says or does anything about it before and while it’s happening. Carter even read where Africa American families who’s relatives have been lynched wouldn’t even talk about it afterwards. Could you imagine a lynch mob dragging a man out of his home or a jail cell and you and those with power do nothing out of fear for yourself or your family?

Fast forward that thought to a systematic, sophisticated modern day form of lynching. Mr. Bryan A. Stevenson from EJI came to Death Row In North Carolina to speak to men here, in which Carter wasn’t told about this until weeks or months afterwards, however Carter still wrote him a few times at EJI concerning him being innocent and he can conclusively prove it, but he need help mainly a voice. It’s not only EJI but other organizations who all have the same excuse of they lack resources. North Carolina’s Innocent(Restoration of Integrity) Commission has a legitimate excuse to disenfranchise Carter, because they are part of the exact same Judicial system that’s intent on killing Carter (lynch mob), they have a conflict of political interest.

Time has changed the way lynching is done from the old ways, but with the same effect in order for it to be accepted by the public. For instance you have the Death Penalty Litigation Law Firm, in Durham North Carolina in which this Law firm is allegedly a non-profit and entirely funded by the state government (Lynch Mob). This firm would quickly file Racial Justice Act claims against prosecutors, but yet will not file claims to show prosecutors deceived in Carter’s case the Grand Jury to have an indictment with no probable cause returned, then deceived the trial jury and the trial judge was clearly bias. That’s sophistication, act like your against the Lynch Mob when actually your part of it. Using the excuse of lack of resources is just a modern day sophisticated way a bystander like the Innocent Project at UNC Chapel Hill, the Innocent Project at Cardoza School of Law and the EJI of saying,”I’m scared it’s to much corruption in your case, then close their door, and shut their window blinds. If people in 2019 don’t and won’t use their vested resources Their Voices, to stop some one like Carter from being lynched. How can they expect lynching to ever stop? I guess the real questions are, do they want lynching to stop or are they just exploiting its gruesomeness? Shan Carter Can’t breath!!
